My Story
Devyani has a life-long passion for helping and healing others which has led her to pursue a career in counselling. She holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology paired with an Early Childhood Education Diploma. Later in her career she pursued further education in the field of Mental Health and Addictions.
Devyani has went on to work in the field of Addictions, as an addictions counsellor. Where she solidified her “client centered” and “narrative” approach to counselling. As a continuous learner Devyani now is informed in DBT and Gottman approaches. Devyani is currently undertaking training learning about ADHD and counselling.

Additionally, Devyani is of South Asian Origin, she understands what it means to try to balance the duality of the North American lifestyle with opposing cultural norms, and the anxieties and hardships which may come with this. Her experiences shaped her worldview and ability to understand the importance of Mental Health support in the South Asian community (and other communities and cultures where Mental Health is not given priority).

She looks forward to supporting you in identifying your passions and goals, and generally living life in a way that brings out your best possible self.
